Rachel Cousinsis an award-winning singer/songwriter from St. John’s, NL. Her voice is smooth and often described as “haunting”. Powerful vocals, dynamic stage presence and top-notch songwriting skills. Rachel can deliver any style of music.. and make you feel it.
She has performed alongside Canadian icons Serena Ryder, Dave Marsh, Andrew Scott & Luke McMaster.
Rachel has taken workshops with Eric Alper, Tom Jackson, Rick Barker & Grammy award winner Jeff Bova and songwriter David Francey.
She performs on average about 100 shows per year, all while a fill time student, part of musical theatre in the community and 3 choirs at her high school.
Rachel was the opening act for Serena Ryder and The Beaches in September 2018 at Iceberg Alley performance tent.
Rachel has also been nominated for Music NL awards Female Artist of the Year and Rising Star.
She released her debut album “This Fire” in August 2017.
Released her single “Let Go” February 2018.
This song was listed # 2 of the top 100 songs on the east coast for 2018.
This song was signed with a publisher also had a TV placement in the SYFY/Space show “Wynonna Earp” and a CBC show “Hudson”
She released her next single “Dangerous Love” in 2019.
She is currently writing and preparing for her next album.
